Summarise plans and specs
In builder tender packs, joinery details are spread across drawings, finishes schedules and specs.
Steps
- 1
Upload the spec and the finishes schedule (vector PDFs if possible).
- 2
Ask:
Prompt to copy
You are reading a builder's tender pack for the JOINERY package only. Extract: 1) every joinery item with drawing/spec reference and page number, 2) materials, finishes and hardware specified (exact product names), 3) any 'or equivalent' allowances, 4) tolerances, warranties, programme dates and retention terms, 5) conflicts between documents, 6) a numbered RFI list of things missing or unclear. Quote the source text for every item so I can check it.
- 3
Open each page it lists and check it. Send the questions (RFI list) to the builder before you price.

Free plans may hit file-size limits; Claude Pro US$20/mo or ChatGPT Plus A$30/mo handle long PDFs better. Outsourced: My Trade Hub from A$499/mo.
