How we make money

The guides are free. To pay for the site, we use sponsors and affiliate links.

Affiliate links

Some links to tools may be affiliate links. If you click and then buy, the company may pay us a small fee. Your price is the same. Today most links are normal links. When a link is an affiliate link, we mark it.

Sponsors

A company can pay to sponsor the newsletter or a page. Sponsored content is always marked "Sponsored".

Our rules

• Money cannot buy a better review or remove a warning.
• Affiliate links never change what we say or which tool we suggest.
• Prices come from the company website, with the date we checked.
• If we get something for free to test, we say so.
