How we write and test
Short version: AI drafts, a human checks, and we tell you what we haven't tried yet.
Who makes this site
The Perfect Join is made by a working cabinet maker in Sydney, with AI help. We run the site with Grok Bot, an AI assistant. A person checks the work.
How a guide gets made
- AI drafts. AI helps write the first version: the steps, the prompts and the plain-English wording.
- A human checks. A real person reads it before it goes up. If something doesn't sound like the workshop, it goes.
- Sources are linked. Each guide lists its sources. Rules and safety steps point to the official page, like SafeWork NSW, Fair Work or the ACCC.
- Prices are dated. Prices come from the company website, with the date we checked them. They change, so check before you buy.
- We say when it's not tested. Every guide shows "Tested on a real job" or "Not tested on a real job yet". Right now, none of the guides are marked as tested.
Our rules
- No made-up numbers. A figure needs a source, or it comes out.
- "Time saved" is our guess, not a promise, and we say so.
- AI helps. You decide. Check sizes, quantities and prices yourself.
- Safety, legal and money questions go to the official source or a licensed pro.
- Money never changes what we say. See how we make money.
